International policies for Inclusive education
Education for all has been placed on the international policy agenda. This historical analysis focuses on some major international policy document pertaining to education of disabled children.
1) UNESCO Constitution 1945
In 1945 UNESCO was founded with a constitution expressing a belief in full and equal opportunity of education for all.
2) United Nations Universal declaration of Human Right 1948
In 1948 the Universal declaration of Human Right was adopted by the general assembly of the United Nations.
3) Convention against discrimination in education 1960
4) International convention on the elimination of all forms of radical discrimination 1965.
5) International convention on the elimination of all forms of discrimination against women 1979.
6) Convention on the right of the child 1989.
